Why Socialization?

Just like an average person, dogs need to socialize too. They need to feel at ease and comfortable with other dogs too. And they can start being trained to be with other dogs in their first 16 weeks of life. This is the basis of what your dog will become in the near future. The behavior, character and nature of your dog are developed during this stage, and this will last for years to come. This stage will help your dog grow to be at ease with family members, friends and strangers, and the environment that he dwells in.

But first we must need to understand that there are two types of socialization for your dogs. The first one is called the active socialization, or anything that you introduce to your dog such as training and other stuff. The second kind is the passive socialization or what your dog discovers on his own.

You must also need to understand why socialization is very essential to your dog. The first 16 weeks of your dog’s life is very important, and it is during this period that you need to develop the right character in your dog. You can’t go back to this period later on. You can also fix problems during this period because this is the stage where your dog can easily understand you. It is better to have this problem fixed during this area than fixing it later on.  Dog socialization is also important because it build a bond and a relationship between you and your dog throughout the lifetime of your dog. The time that you share to your dog will be richly rewarded.

You are now ready to train your dog in this area.
