“Here, Boy!”
When your dog gives birth to a puppy, it is quite proper that you teach him good manners in leaving its waste in a designated place. By doing this, you won’t have to deal with stepping on some manure anywhere in the house, or getting rid of the smell that this waste emits. What’s worse is that when visitors drop by your house and immediately, the stench pervades the nostril. Now that’s embarrassing! To be able to potty train your puppy (just like a dog), you must follow this set of rules.
First is that you must find a good dog house area for your puppy. You can either use a crate or a tiny pen area for them to stay. You can set up their water drinks, their small beds or a couple of toys that they can chew. Never set up their toilet area in their pen.
Next is to find a designated toilet area for your puppy. When you have already chosen an area, you must lead your dog to the designated area every sixty minutes. You can either carry your puppy or take them out with a leash. When you are able to reach this area, walk your dog around or have them circle the area many times. Along with this, you can give a clue word to your dog to signal them that this is the place to leave their marks. The dog’s name can also serve as a sight word. This way, they would be able to associate their name with the toilet area.
